Most of my high output pickups start out at $80 shipped.
General Tonal Philosophy
The general characteristics of hand wound pickups is that they are generally more open sounding than a machine wound pickup of similar spec. This is why I believe that high output pickups benefit most from being hand wound. I feel that you can wind a pickup with more winds and output without loosing the clarity and articulation lost by many machine wound high output pickups that really start lose too much top end or become overly congesting or nasally in mid frequencies.
1984
As the name would suggest, this pickup is all about the 80's. Coming in at about 13.9k and available in A2 or Ceramic, this pickup is highly versatile and has a great balance of chewiness and clarity. This pickup is probably one of my personal favorites in a super Strat.

Sunset Strip
This pickup covers the higher output range at ~14,4k and uses 43awg wire and a short roughcast A5 magnet. This pickup is plenty hot for most applications with great clarity. Works well in just about any guitar typed. Check out the videos
Wicked 8
This pickup was born out of wanting a pickup similar to the current pickups used by my favorite Guitarist (GL from Dokken). It comes in at 14.4k and uses a rough cast ALNICO 8. This pickup is meant to be in your face, the alpha in the room...... It cuts great and retains plenty of high an low end. See videos
The Roxy
This pickup evolved as a request to make a pickup with similar specs to the JB, but without the mid dominant bump that many either love or hate. it is pretty close tonally to the Sunset Strip, but with a little more lower end and every so slightly less highs and a little more push to the front of your amp.. This pickup covers a lot of territory and also pairs well with bolt on and Les Paul type guitars. This pickup comes in at ~17k and used a short roughcast ALNICO 5.
The Whiskey
This pickup is more polite than the Roxy, but with better dynamics, harmonics, and feel under the fingers. You'll easily find musical overtones as you sustain single notes under gain. The softer attack of the whiskey makes it work really well most types of rock music. While the a whiskey may have the softer attack that the roxy, it still has great string to string clarity. The Whiskey comes in at ~16.3k with short roughcast ALNICO 5
The PSykes
The PSykes is my take on the vintage Gi***n Dirty Fi**ers pickup. I used my actually DF from an early 80's Les Paul as a tonal
baseline. I use a similar thick, 3 magnet construction with custom ceramic 8 magnets. It features the same double screw row bobbins. Like the original, its has the same great felling, bouncy, and sometime sinister low end and low mid growl. Unlike the original, The Psykes comes wax potted for usability. Get you 80's Whitesnake tone on!.

Sunset Strip vs. a popular signature pickup by Blake Mansfield
Another comparison clip. Keep in mind that the Sunset Strip was around 15k and the VHII around 8.7k. The sunset has alot more output, but certainly didn't get lost and get muddy
